Satellite operates an intelligent manufacturing line with an annual capacity of 150 small satellites and has engineering capabilities covering on-orbit assembly, maintenance and end-of-life disposal. Ziton is a state-backed commercial space company specializing in on-orbit services and space-based spectrum monitoring. Yanhe Technology provides lightweight, high-specific-power photovoltaic solutions designed for extreme space environments.

The three companies will jointly develop key technologies for kilometer-scale space power stations and energy systems for lunar-orbit satellites. They will also work on industry standards, conduct technology demonstration projects and explore opportunities in space energy and deep-space exploration.

The partnership supports Yanhe Technology’s 2030 Space Power Station Plan, which focuses on space computing power stations, in-space manufacturing power stations and lunar power stations. Ground-based proof-of-concept testing for kilometer-scale space power stations has been completed, with an in-orbit demonstration planned for 2027.

By connecting energy supply, on-orbit construction, operations and deep-space applications, the three companies aim to accelerate the engineering and commercialization of space-based solar power.
